BETWEEN THE CANDELABRAS!

Last Sunday at Crestview, Pastor Shawn spoke from Jesus’ Miracle at the Wedding at Cana.  As part of the sermon, after sharing a couple of his recent wedding experiences he invited me to share a couple of mine!  I realized that in my 50 years of being a church organist, I’ve played for over 600 weddings-large, small, formal, informal, cathedral, small country church, an amazing resort in Bedford, Pennsylvania on the PERFECT Roland Digital Grand, and one internationally famous singer (you’ll have to private message me to find out who)!  It’s been a blessing, and I love it when people stop me in the mall or a restaurant and remind me (I’m getting that age!!!!) of the wedding and something I played or said at the rehearsal.

I was thinking, this BLOG setting might be a nice venue to simply click reply to this post, and “check-in”, reminding me of your ceremony and allowing me to send a note back in reply!  Thanks to all who have blessed me by including me in your ceremonial and reception music!  RB
