TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME!

Many know I played organ at Riverfront Stadium for eleven years at Cincinnati Reds Games under Marge Schott’s ownership!  I continue to enjoy playing “Reds programs” from time to time.  This April I enjoyed returning to Kathy’s Happy Organs for an inning to inning demonstration of “how to play a Major League Baseball Game”.  The narrative was complete with selections from the ballpark, with lots of audience particpation in clapping and singing, with true stories from my time on the bench, and with baseball humor and PRIZES include party favors and “knockers”-a noise maker that was handed out as your enter the game!  This lady asked me to sign her “knocker”–a request I’ve never been asked following a concert–and seemed delighted when I did so!  I always have a WONDERFUL TIME at Kathy’s Happy Organs playing the incredible Lowrey Organs, and this was one of the best!
