Recording The Harrah Symphonic Organ

A NEW CHRISTMAS ORGAN CD OF MEGA-PROPORTION!  I was delighted to command the console of the HARRAH SYMPHONIC ORGAN with my cousin Steve Riley of “SMASH HITS STUDIO” manipulating “LOGIC PRO X” to record my efforts!  In about three weeks, check back here at www.rodneybarbour.com for the release date of a spectacular collection of joyful-spiritual Christmas favorites.

On this recording you will hear traditional pipe organ, theatre organ, symphonic organ, orchestral voices through midi, acoustic tuned percussion instruments including carillon, chimes, glockenspiel, celesta, harp, total surround sound from both pipes and speakers (around 10,400 watts) at front-rear and all sides of the six-walled sanctuary.  The recording was captured live in a natural environment so you will experience the nuance of live performance including tremulant motors, pipe wind, creaky swell shutters and a couple of coal trains from the nearby tracks (of course during the quietest selection!).
